About Us
Crypto Casinos exists to help US players cut through the noise around crypto gambling. There are dozens of offshore sites competing for attention with bold bonus headlines, and very little independent, US-specific information about what those offers actually cost, how the coins move, and what the legal picture really looks like. We built precaution.org to close that gap.
Why a crypto-specific comparison site
Playing with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT, USDC or Dogecoin is not the same experience as playing with a debit card at a state-regulated casino. Deposits and withdrawals move on-chain, network fees and confirmation times vary by coin, and many sites offer little or no identity verification at all. Those differences change how you should evaluate a casino — supported coins, payout speed, and how "no-KYC" a site genuinely is matter as much as game selection. Our comparisons are built around those crypto-specific factors, not generic casino review criteria.
What we actually compare
Every site on precaution.org is assessed against the same set of practical questions:
- Which cryptocurrencies are accepted, and whether stablecoins like USDT or USDC are supported for players who want to avoid price swings while they play
- How fast withdrawals are processed on-chain, and what limits or fees apply
- Whether verification is required at all, at what stage, and for which limits
- The range of games on offer — slots, live dealer tables, blackjack, roulette, baccarat, crash, dice, Plinko and in-house "originals" — and which studios supply them
- Whether games are provably fair or carry independent RNG certification
- Where the operator is licensed, and what that licence does and doesn't mean for a US player
- The real terms behind welcome bonuses, cashback and VIP programmes, including wagering requirements and any exclusions
We also look at the sportsbook and other product lines many of these operators run alongside casino games, since a number of the sites we cover — such as those offering free sports bets alongside a casino bonus — expect players to move between the two.
How the rankings work
Our editorial ratings are researched and cross-checked against publicly available information: stated licensing, published terms, supported payment rails, game catalogues, and how each operator communicates its bonus conditions. We have not deposited, played or withdrawn funds at these sites ourselves, and we don't present our ratings as customer reviews or as a substitute for reading a site's own terms before you sign up. Commercial relationships exist — precaution.org may earn a commission if you sign up through a link on this site — but they do not decide the order sites appear in. A site's position reflects the criteria above, not what it pays us.
Where we're straight about the legal grey area
This is the part we won't soften. Online casino gaming is only legally regulated in a small number of US states, and none of those regulated operators run on crypto. The offshore crypto casinos covered on this site — including those licensed out of Curaçao or Anjouan — are not licensed or regulated by any US authority. Playing at them sits in a legal grey area rather than a clearly legal or clearly illegal one, and that status varies by state. We won't tell you a site is legal where it isn't, and we expect readers to check their own state's laws rather than take availability on an offshore site as confirmation that play is permitted where they live.
The money side, honestly
Crypto casinos let you deposit and withdraw using self-custody or exchange wallets, but that convenience comes with trade-offs: network fees, confirmation times, and the price volatility of holding BTC, ETH, DOGE or similar coins while you play — which is one reason stablecoins have become popular for players who want to gamble with a fixed dollar value rather than a fluctuating one. Bonuses always carry wagering or playthrough requirements, time limits, and sometimes state or game exclusions; we state those conditions next to any offer we cover rather than leaving them for the fine print. Winnings, and crypto gains generally, can carry tax obligations in the US — we're not positioned to give tax advice, and we'd point any reader with real money at stake toward a qualified tax professional rather than guesswork.
Player protection matters here too
Offshore sites don't always offer the same self-exclusion tools, deposit limits or player protections that state-regulated US operators are required to provide. We flag that plainly rather than assuming readers already know it. If gambling stops being fun or starts feeling difficult to control, the National Problem Gambling Helpline (1-800-GAMBLER) is a free, confidential resource, and our responsible gambling page goes into more detail on tools and warning signs. Every site we cover is intended for players who meet the applicable state and site minimum age — 18 or 21 depending on the operator — and nothing on precaution.org is written for, or should be read by, anyone under that age.
